Preschool is part of the Northstar Early Years Program. The Northstar Early Years Program consists of

  • Play Stage (PS)
  • Pre-Kindergarten (Pre K)
  • Kindergarten 1 (K1)
  • Kindergarten 2 (K2)

The Northstar Approach permeates the teaching and learning in all Northstar units from Preschool to Grade 12.At The Northstar School we have looked forward to welcoming both learners and parents to our bright and inspiring newly built campus designed specifically for learning.   • Play Stage (2 to 3 years Age)

The first step of learning starts here and we very well know parents want to embrace every milestone of their little child. At Northstar playstage, we create an environment where learners are free to explore and discover themselves in the classrooms. We provide an experience that nurtures core values. Our enthusiastic educators also works closely with parents which allows children to grow,feel secured and stretch their wings freely.

  • Pre-Kindergarten (3 to 4 years Age)

While getting ready for the transition to Pre kindergarten with a more structured and organized program the learners gain more confidence and independence. The program give learners the opportunities to pursue open ended discussion, role play, pre writing skills, create an art through which children can find success in their innate curiosity. During this year we also focus on their fine and gross motor skills and to sharpen their communication skills enable them to participate in more independent activities to explore, integrate and discover their world. Our committed educators will partner with parents during this special year making their “senior year” of preschool the best it can be. This connection and sense of community gives little learners the experience of joy and wonder of childhood

  • Kindergarten 1 (4 to 5 years Age)

  • Kindergarten 2 (5 to 6 years Age)

Kindergarten 1 & 2 are an important years of Northstar Early Years Program. This two years of Kindergarten creates a solid foundation of their academic years to come. The program offers the learners with lot of hands on activities, expression of creativity and foster lifelong learning opportunities to interact with their peers. Learners during these years will take their first critical steps toward learning to read and write. Creative opportunities in the classroom, garden and playground inspire young spirits in these years
